Students of massage therapy study massage, Shiatsu, reflexology, bodywork and healing touch techniques to become a massage therapist. As a licensed graduate of a massage training school, you will find a wide range of job opportunities.


What You Will Study

Massage therapy is a specialized science pertaining to the systematic tapping, for therapeutic purposes such as

promoting circulation of the metabolic balance, in order that both physical and mental balance may be achieved.


What You Need To Graduate & Qualify for a license in Massage Therapy

a)      Accrue 600 hours. The hours must be documented legal hours of training in the correct areas required by the State of Arkansas;

b)      Must complete all of the assigned clinicals;

c)      Account and final papers must be in order, including State Board Exam Application, Exit Interview for Loan students, date for mock state board, and financial paperwork settled;

d)      Must have grades no less than a 75% in theory and 75% on practicals.

Upon completing your program and having met all the requirements to graduate, including having your balance paid in full, you will be awarded a diploma.
